Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automated Tester to join our team in a remote, full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing with expertise in writing and executing both manual and automated test scripts. This role requires an active IRS MBI Clearance and offers the opportunity to work on a range of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scripts.
Develop and configure automated test scripts and maintain test environments.
Configure test scripts to support cross-browser testing.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the SDLC.
Implement and maintain automation frameworks (data-driven and keyword-driven).
Conduct API and Web Services testing.
Utilize tools like Selenium, UFT, RFT, and GIT for automation and version control.
Integrate regression tests into the CI/CD pipeline using DevOps practices.
Perform non-functional testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
2 years of experience in automation testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Experience with automation tools: Selenium, UFT, RFT, and GIT.
Proficiency in API and Web Services testing.
Knowledge of automation frameworks (data-driven and keyword-driven).
Experience in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cross-browser testing and configuration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD integration.
Knowledge of non-functional testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Agile or SAFe certifications.
Testing or Agile Automation training/certifications.
Experience with COTS products testing (e.g., PEGA).
Exposure to performance and load testing environments.
