This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. - Implement programs to improve quality, reduce cost, and support new NPI programs for Spray Adhesives, Wall repair, Abrasives and Auto retail products.
- Verify and document product specifications for new and existing products
- Conduct product claims testing and document test results via claim substantiation process
- Interact closely with key internal and external manufacturers and suppliers to deliver high-quality retail products
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- One (1) year of manufacturing and/or laboratory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science or Chemistry from an accredited institution
- One (1) year of experience in adhesive manufacturing or laboratory setting
- Demonstrated success in effectively leading and contributing to cross functional teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute product verification/claim substantiation test plans, develop & validate test methods and properly document test results
- Demonstrated proficiency in design of experiments and other statistical methods
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require on-site at least 4 days per week in Maplewood)
