The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Manage a staff of project engineers located at plants throughout the US to drive growth, productivity, EHS, and renewal capital investments. Responsible for value / opportunity identification, project execution, plant operating committee leadership, and support of annual capital planning. Develop and maintain the technical competency and project management skills of the group. Provide leadership to 3M Engineering through engineering sponsored committees and technical organizations. Develop and implement facility and equipment renewal plans in partnership with external and internal partners. Provide leadership, development, and coaching to execute projects on time (rapid execution), within budget (cost effective solutions), and with predictable spend accuracy. This role executes strategic and operational plans for the engineering group and supports execution of similar plans for their assigned production plants.
