As a EHS Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :
- Providing technical expertise and assistance on all aspects of the site’s Environmental & Safety Compliance efforts to include Safety & Injury prevention, Incident Investigation, Process Safety Management (PSM), Dust Hazard Management (DHM), Fall Protection, Machine Guarding, Site Emergency Preparedness & Emergency Response Team, Hazardous & Universal Waste.
- Assist with the coordination of the Site PSM, DHM & MOC programs.
- Assisting in representing the site during audits by 3M staff groups such as EHS Environmental Operations and Corporate Safety as well as regulatory inspections.
- Developing appropriate documentation on plant systems to comply with 3M requirements & lead efforts to improve existing programs.
- Providing EHS support in the design and installation of new or modified equipment, New Product Introduction System, Incoming Material Approval System, and Management of Change.
- Assisting in meeting departmental and plant Lean Six Sigma targets and leading EHS Projects.
- Assist in investigating workplace incidents and completing root cause analyses to determine appropriate corrective actions and conducting assessments of high hazard processes to reduce risk.
