Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.). - Supports the creation, production and dissemination of Compensation Committee meeting materials and coordination of meetings
- Owns and/or supports various compensation processes, such as annual executive compensation planning, compensation communications, and other key compensation initiatives, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives
- Conducts informational meetings and responds to inquiries for executive compensation counsel, practices, and procedures throughout the year
- Responsible for Communications/3M Go creation or updates for related Processes named above
- Collaborate with internal partners such as HR, Legal, Finance and others on projects, processes and issue resolution
- Lead executive compensation related process improvement initiatives
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Five (5) years of HR or finance experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Master's degree in business or HR from an accredited institution
- Ten (10 ) years of HR or finance experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Skills include knowledge of compensation programs and processes, communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence, analytical and problem-solving skills, Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy, proficiency in Workday, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to 3M Center as needed)
