The Impact Youll Make in this Role

As a Maintenance and Reliability Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :

• Provide support for maintenance systems, including utility metering, monitoring building performance and maintenance work order systems.
• Create specifications for purchasing mechanical utility system equipment
• Model energy consumption of mechanical systems
• Provide support for site utility plant and process systems
• Support Plant Engineering as they develop and manage project timelines and budgets
• Successfully interact with multiple discipline teams including 3M Center operations, consultants, suppliers, and vendors
• Communicate effectively to project team, facility staff and project owners
• Troubleshoot steam, chilled water issues in new and existing systems
• Ensure application of applicable codes, standards, and internal guidelines
• Stay abreast of technology advancements in steam and chilled water generating and distribution systems
• Provide on-call support for any emergency or maintenance activity.

Travel : May include up to 10% domestic / international

Relocation : May be authorized

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
