The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a Quality Supervisor for the Aearo Technologies, LLC site in Newark, DE, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :

Partnering with other quality and business leaders to support the Quality Management System.

Championing and leading internal and external audits including associated corrective actions.

Focusing on customer quality and improving customer satisfaction, including customer visits and communication.

Implementing appropriate total quality management strategies including effective communication of the quality strategies and priorities.

Representing the quality department and serving as the gatekeeper for quality for New Product Introduction (NPI) and commercialization.

Providing leadership, coaching and direction to the Newark quality and operations teams.

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and five (5) years of experience private in one or more of the following areas : Quality, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, or Operations in private, public, government or military environment
• High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND eight (8) years of experience private in one or more of the following areas : Quality, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, or Operations in private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :

Three (3) years of direct supervisory experience in a quality or manufacturing environment

Automotive, Aerospace or related industry experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Experience implementing and managing to ISO9001 and IATF16949

Experience working with global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers including PPAP and FAI

Experience working with NPI and commercialization as a quality gatekeeper

Bachelors or advanced degree

Travel : May include up to 15% domestic

Relocation Assistance : May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and / or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations / compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
