The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead and manage a network of Electronics Manufacturers' Representatives specializing in the sales of connectors and cable assemblies. This role requires a results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, technical sales environment and has proven experience working closely with electronics components distributors to drive business growth.
As an Electronics Materials Regional Sales Manager, Interconnect -East, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :
- Sales Leadership : Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.Manage and motivate a network of third-party sales agents (Manufacturers' Representatives) to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to the sales agents to enhance their performance.
- Customer Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote products and capabilities.
- Distributor Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with electronics components distributors to ensure effective collaboration and maximize market coverage.Develop joint business plans with distributors, including promotional strategies, inventory management, and sales initiatives.Monitor distributor performance, ensuring they meet agreed-upon targets and expectations.
- Market Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including emerging markets, industry trends, and potential customers.Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and product management, to develop and implement strategies for market penetration.Analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to adapt strategies and recommend new products or services.
- Reporting and Analysis : Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to senior management.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management in CRM tools.
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
