The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Shipper Receiver, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :

Utilize SAP (computer program / WMS) to move materials between storage locations

Utilize SAP and company specific programs to label packages & create BOL’s for shipment

Operate forklifts, and other mobile material handling equipment in a safe & efficient manner

Packs materials to meet customer standards, ensuring product arrives damage-free to customer

Maintains accuracy when packing orders and completing paperwork

Operates Repack Station and / or fills in for Material Handlers, as assigned

Assists in unloading and loading trucks

Communicates with others working in shipping, delivery personal and quality control

Perform cycle and inventory counts

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :

Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)

1 year of previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to work 2nd Shift : 2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :

2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Cycle Count experience within a manufacturing environment

Ability to perform basic computer functions within Word and Excel

Ability to pass company provided Forklift Training and retain issued forklift license

Ability to operate material handling equipment including sit down forklifts

Work location :

Onsite – Indianapolis, Indiana

The starting rate of pay for this position is $23.81per hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and / or experience.
