3N Consulting Services, LLC, a certified minority-owned consulting firm located in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, seeks a full-time Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) and Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI).

Job Opportunity

3N Consulting Services is currently seeking qualified Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCI & TCIS) for our Highway and Bridge projects located in PennDOT District 8-0, Lancaster County. Project is anticipated to start Spring 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspects, observes, and documents construction activities for Transportation and /or Civil projects.
• Uses various computer software programs to document observations and creates inspection reports.
• Continuously monitors work of team to ensure timely completion of project. Makes monthly estimate payments to contractor.
• Interacts with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, government agency representatives, and other parties on a regular basis.
• Communicates information, responds to inquiries, and helps resolve field issues to ensure successful completion of projects.
• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining required certifications.
• Utilizes technical references appropriately for the inspection of structural, concrete, earthwork, building, and mechanical components.

Education and Experience

• Education: GED or high school diploma required. Degree in Civil Engineering or P.E preferred.
• Experience: minimum 1 year of PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike, or related highway transportation construction experience
• Licensure/Certification: NECEPT Bituminous and Concrete, ACI, NICET Level 2 or higher in Highway Construction, CDS NextGen, v3

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PennDOT, PA Turnpike, or related organizations preferred.
• Previous Construction Inspection experience preferred.
• Experience working with CDS NeXtGen preferred. Must possess valid driver’s license.

Candidates must be in good physical condition to be able to lift up to 90-lbs., and able to work independently with company personnel, be willing to travel, willing to work an irregular schedule, demonstrate good organizational skills, possess a strong work ethic and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
