Job Title: Manufacturing Lead (Agricultural Production)
Location: Onsite in Northern California
Role Overview:
Spearhead the implementation and optimization of Oracle SCM Manufacturing Cloud. This role is pivotal in transforming ag production processes by leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative manufacturing strategies.
As the Manufacturing Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, enhance process efficiency, and drive strategic growth in agricultural production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle SCM Manufacturing Cloud Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of Oracle SCM Manufacturing Cloud modules, with emphasis on Discrete and Process Manufacturing, including Work Definitions, Batch Work Orders, Cost Accounting, and Traceability.
- Ensure seamless integration across Oracle Cloud applications by managing requirements gathering, conducting gap analyses, designing solutions, developing functionalities, overseeing testing, and providing post-go-live support.
Process Transformation & Optimization:
- Develop a deep understanding of existing manufacturing processes and apply best practices to design future-state processes tailored to the unique needs of ag production and food manufacturing.
- Analyze and optimize end-to-end manufacturing workflows, ensuring alignment with supply chain, procurement, inventory management, and order management processes.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Provide leadership to workstream teams by setting clear objectives, managing timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery within governance frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, finance, and IT, to ensure cohesive and efficient process integration.
Support for Additional Oracle Cloud Modules:
- Support the implementation and optimization of complementary Oracle Cloud modules, such as Procurement, Order Management, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Planning, to achieve a fully integrated manufacturing ecosystem.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 7 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years working with Oracle SCM Manufacturing Cloud. Experience with Oracle Procurement, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Planning modules preferred.
- Background in process manufacturing with experience leading large-scale Oracle Cloud implementation projects in global or multi-site organizations.
- Exposure to large-scale agricultural operations preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive standardization, operational transformation, and process optimization within complex manufacturing environments. Expertise in process engineering, cost accounting, and manufacturing execution systems (MES) tailored to the agriculture industry preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex business challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders, including end users, cross-functional teams, and executive leadership.
