Job Title: Chemical Operator
Location: Savannah, GA, 31408
Working Hours: Mon - Fri
Work Timings: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (40 hrs per week)
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED
- Must have forklift experience
- At least 6 months of industrial experience
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Operates chemical packaging and processing equipment. equipment (e.g., Calciner, Ribbon Blender, HTLP equipment).
- Follows safety, environmental, and SOP guidelines.
- Troubleshoots and reports equipment issues to supervisors.
- Inspects, cleans, and performs minor repairs on equipment.
- Prepares equipment for maintenance and assists maintenance personnel.
- Draws and submits product samples for QC analysis.
- Maintains accurate logbook records and communicates with shift personnel.
