Job Title: Computer Technician
Location: Charleston, SC 29401
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Job Type: Temp, 9 months
Note:
- Valid Driver’s license, own vehicle and clean driving record required.
- Driving 25-50%.
Qualifications:
- Required High school degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with MFDs/technical support.
- Must have technical and copier/printer break-fix experience.
- Ability to create reports and communicate effectively
- Printer support is ideal, basic network knowledge, customer service and support
- Customer-facing, customer service skill
- Standing long hours, walking, lifting 50lbs. Must be able to move MFDs on wheels.
- Basic use of MS Office, sufficient to maintain reporting in Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Break-fix activities account for 70% of role responsibilities.
- Services Delivery: Basic device cleaning and replacement of operator accessible parts and consumables per equipment specifications..
- Escalate printer network issues to appropriate resource
- Device Configuration (Enter IP address, scanning templates, User access levels
- Download and install printer drivers on end-user equipment
- Perform Data Entry for activity and asset tracking
