Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: West Hazleton, PA 18202
Shift: Morning - 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Monday-Thursday)
Duties
- Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and pallet jacks, to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform order picking and accurately prepare shipments for delivery.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with safety regulations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to operational standards.
- Follow OSHA guidelines and safety protocols at all times while operating heavy equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, as well as order picking techniques, is beneficial.
- Experience operating various types of heavy equipment is a plus.
- A strong understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations will be highly regarded.
