Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Birmingham, AL, USA 35233
Shift : Flexible hours; early start time between 4AM-6AM, still an 8-hour shift
Payrate: $19/hr
Job Description:
- Logistics Coordination & Operations: Manage and coordinate logistics operations to ensure smooth, efficient processes, maintaining timely delivery schedules and optimal stock levels.
- Customer Service & Communication: Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and issues promptly. Communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and vendors, ensuring a positive experience.
- Worksite Organization & Documentation: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Ensure accurate documentation of inventory receipts for effective stock management and precise record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experienced in managing and coordinating logistics operations efficiently.
- Skilled in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Proficient in handling phone calls and communicating effectively with customers and vendors.
- Ensures a clean, organized, and safe worksite at all times.
- Excels in clear, professional, and timely communication with customers.
- Ensures precise and thorough documentation of inventory receipts for accurate stock management.
Qualifications Required:
- No college degree required, high school diploma or equivalent
- Military experience
- Cleaning tasks involved
- Comfortable working in a radiation environment (training provided)
- GMP, EHS training for lifting and moving cases (30 days total)
- Experience in Receiving materials, verifying shipments, basic PC skills, learning to read a meter
