The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain process, ensuring efficient coordination between suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Charlotte North Carolina 28216
Shift: Morning - 8:00:00 AM - 5:00:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Duties
- Utilize MRP systems to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and procure materials
- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Utilize Tableau for data analysis and reporting on logistics performance
- Coordinate dispatching activities to optimize delivery schedules
- Familiarity with AS400 system for logistics operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles
- Proficiency in MRP systems and order fulfillment processes
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers
- Experience in process improvement within a logistics setting
- Knowledge of Tableau for data analysis and reporting purposes
- Familiarity with AS400 system for logistics operations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
