Title: Logistics Operator
Location: Roanoke, VA 24015
Shift: Monday – Thursday 06:00am - 04:30pm (Friday Overtime as needed)
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
- Must maintain the Goods Issued process for the Roanoke Site.
- Analyze and resolve the top 3 variance issues. COGI, ZRV1 and TBF.
- Significant error free data entry via Saturn Goods Issue.
- Reconcile errors, communicate, escalate issues appropriately.
- Manage cycle count corrections and reconcile errors, work with purchasing to manage raw material levels.
- Must follow all established safety rules and procedures.
- Must demonstrate integrity while performing duties as per company’s Code of Conduct.
- Batch ticket completion – Scan batch tickets and enter information into computer relating to goods issue.
- Run variance list weekly to view problems.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas.
- Assist in inventory discrepancies.
- Assist with general site cleanup as scheduled.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/ SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE:
- High School Diploma or GED Minimum.
- Experience with SAP.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow safety instructions and safety guidelines.
- Ability to write correspondence in English professionally and effectively to all levels of management, peer group and employees.
- Ability to interact and communicate in English with all levels of the organization effectively and precisely.
- Must have effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task and balance priorities.
- Dedicated and committed safety leadership and presence.
- Analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills for data tabulation, analysis and report preparation (Excel), good typing skills.
