Manufacturing Associate
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Location: 7381 Empire Dr, Florence, KY 41042
Shift Schedule: 6:30am – 4:00pm Mon-Fri
Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Associate plays a crucial role in a fast-paced production environment, assisting in the filling and packaging of reagents. This position requires a strong commitment to teamwork, attendance, and adaptability, with the ability to follow stringent processes and procedures in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Filling and Packaging: Assist with the filling and packaging of reagents in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Process Adherence: Follow company, site, and department procedures accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Accurately record information within documentation while maintaining strict adherence to FDA, GMP, and ISO requirements.
- Housekeeping: Perform daily housekeeping tasks in production areas and on equipment to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, standard work instructions, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Training and Learning: Maintain up-to-date training records and comply with all company policies and procedures. Learn and develop skills in simple to more complex processes over time.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvement projects using Lean techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
- Problem Reporting: Communicate any safety, quality, or production concerns immediately to the appropriate level. You have the authority to stop the production line and notify the necessary individuals for issues involving safety, quality, or production.
- 5S Activities: Support and maintain 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) activities in the manufacturing areas.
Requirements:
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Overtime: Willingness and ability to work overtime as required by production needs.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to read and follow process documentation in English and maintain accurate records.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Strong teamwork skills with the ability to adapt to changing work environments and tasks.
- Process Compliance: Ability to comply with FDA, GMP, and ISO requirements, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
