What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Lab Technician position at 3PL Vision LLC?
We are hiring for our client in the biotechnology industry.
3 months contract
The Manufacturing Lab Support Technician will report to the Head of Kits Manufacturing. The work is in a laboratory setting requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a lab coat, eye protection and gloves.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist with closing kit in QC.
- Cap and torque finished good containers.
- Aliquot bulk reagents.
- Label vials.
- Assembly of products.
- Receive and put away raw materials.
- Aliquot and label raw materials for long term storage.
- Maintain inventory of raw material and control samples.
- 5S the lab.
- Maintain equipment.
- Clean and distribute laboratory glassware.
- May be required to perform other duties as required/assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Position requires prolonged stints of standing/sitting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree.
- Lab experience.
- Previous experience handling chemicals and biological materials.
