Job Title: Print Specialist
Location: Binghamton, NY 13903
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hrs/week)
Job Type: Temp, 12 months
Qualifications:
- Post high school technology training or experience
- Specialized training/education as required; graphic arts, imaging science or print technology, network or multiple operating systems
- Knowledge and Experience Working in a Print Shop and operating production/digital print presses - this is a must.
- Comfortable with using MS Office applications
- Graphics knowledge a plus
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- long hours of standing.
Responsibilities:
- Operate standard finishing equipment (e.g. paper cutters, inserters, laminating, and hole punchers)
- Operate Digital Print Production equipment (printer)
- Process forms and update information using a PC
- Maintain appropriate supply inventory Problem solve issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirements
- Perform basic quality inspection before, during and after output of each production run
- Sort and scan hardcopy materials or other mediums for use in printed documents or digital format.
