Responsibilities
- Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Conduct sourcing activities to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to achieve cost-effective purchasing solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and provide support in procurement processes.
- Utilize Oracle EBS and other systems for tracking orders, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to inform future purchasing strategies.
- Assist in the development of supply chain management processes to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in purchasing, sourcing, or vendor management within a corporate environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contract terms.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
- Experience using Oracle EBS or similar procurement systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for evaluating supplier proposals and performance metrics.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
