JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab will be responsible for providing patient care in the cath lab setting. This role requires expertise in aseptic techniques, anatomy knowledge, and urgent care practices.
Duties
- Perform catheterization procedures under the direction of physicians
- Monitor patients during and after procedures
- Assist with discharge planning and patient education
- Utilize venipuncture skills for blood draws and IV placement
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in clinic and CT settings
- Apply critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in a cath lab or urgent care setting preferred
- Knowledge of PICU procedures and protocols is beneficial
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Current RN license with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must have strong EP, IR, Circulate and Scrub experience.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour
