Title: Sanitation Technician
Location: 7305 NW 62nd Avenue, P.O. Box 287, Johnston, IA 50131
Shift: Work shift 7:30AM - 4:00PM, M-F with rotational weekend work required (approximately every 6th weekend, 7:30AM - 4:00PM).

Responsibilities:
· Be responsible for execution of autonomous robot activity and prepping and monitoring workload throughout the day.
· Perform routine sanitation tasks such as grinding bins of plant material, running an automated pots & flat washer, cleaning out machines, and cleaning in and around automated headhouses and greenhouses.
· Work in a safe manner while using appropriate PPE.
· Troubleshoot and document automation issues and correct errors within the system.
· Execute on plant care tasks for various crops according to a defined schedule. Such as transplanting, pruning, tying, and discarding.
· Works once every 6th weekend, with comp days
Requirements:

· Close attention to detail, and the ability to follow standard operating protocols while ensuring personal safety and ergonomics.
· Good communication skills, a high degree of self-motivation, positive attitude
· The ability work well independently
· Must have Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive company vehicles, such as a forklift, truck, and trailer.
· Good basic computer skills including experience with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), and a willingness to gain competency with internally developed research software. A positive attitude towards robots.
· Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive work in a warm, humid greenhouse with pollen present year-round.
