Job Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized warehouse operations.

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Location: Florence KY 41042
Shift: Morning -Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Duties

• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials
• Prepare items for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and shipments
• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse
• Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries

Skills

• Proficiency in basic math for inventory tracking
• Experience with E-commerce shipping processes
• Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving procedures
• Ability to perform picking and packing tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Understanding of Distribution Center operations
• Forklift operation skills
• Capability to load and unload shipments safely
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Stock management expertise

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
• Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Required)
