Job Title : Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Contract)
Location: Southaven, MS 38671
Duration: 12 months
Payrate : 20 .00 /hr.
Shift: 8 am - 5 pm
OT will be required occasionally
Skills Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a related field.
- Experience operating a scanner and processing shipment data.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to prioritize and multitask under tight deadlines.
- Effective organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Core Responsibilities
- To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Prepares and keeps records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading.
- Coordinate and communicate with freight carriers on trailer switches and pick-ups
- Troubleshoot freight issues related to shipping in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Schedule freight within online portals.
- Communicate with cross functional departments as needed.
- Process returns both internal and external.
- Process sub-contract shipments.
- Support shift supervisor on shift management needs.
- Prepares and keeps records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- In this role, the working environment is a general production/assembly environment, and the physical demands may include but not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
