Title: Production Worker
Location: 2295 Progress Dr, Hebron, KY 41048
Shift: 1st Shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Role responsibilities:
Perform a variety of assignments within a manufacturing environment, including:
- Assisting with the filling and packaging of reagents in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow company, site, and department procedures.
- Read and follow process documentation written in English.
- Accurately record information within documentation while maintaining strict adherence to FDA, GMP, and ISO requirements.
- Perform daily housekeeping of production areas and equipment as required.
- Maintain up-to-date training records and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Adapt to change and contribute as part of a team, ensuring excellent attendance.
- Learn and build skills for simple to more complex processes with increasing experience.
- Maintain strict adherence to compliance, safety standards, and standard work instructions, including wearing personal protective equipment.
- Identify and implement process improvement projects using Lean techniques.
- Communicate any Safety, Quality, or Production problems immediately to the appropriate level.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and materials handling and heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with inventory management and control systems
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and GMP standards
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform heavy lifting
