Retail Engagement Manager

***Note - The salary for this position is based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and industry standards. The top of the posted pay range reflects compensation for candidates with a similar title, performing comparable duties within a similar industry, and possessing 12 or more years of experience. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications.
Position Summary
Plays a pivotal role in managing and expanding the Credit Union’s internal member portfolio. Oversees existing member accounts, identifies opportunities, and collaborates with all Resource Centers to drive member growth and retention. High performer (top 10% of peer), strategically aggressive and different in thought (UYH) with a keen understanding of the Credit Union’s products/services and the ability to build and nurture relationships.

- Ability to interact with the public in a manner which promotes the interest of the Credit Union.
- Strong knowledge of consumer lending
- Understanding of commercial lending and underwriting of loans
- Consistent history of successful production
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationship with management, peers, employees, and vendors.
- Good understanding of financial institution products and services.
- Strong analytical, project management and presentation skills
- Knowledge of markets, competitor activities, problems and developing trends within assigned area
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Adheres to all federal, state and credit union regulations and policies.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- College degree in business-related field, preferred
- 2 years minimum experience of relationship building and outside sales calling, required
- 2 years minimum of consumer/retail lending
