Customer Success Manager
Location: NYC or Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Base Salary: $90K–$130K (depending on experience)
A high-growth B2B startup in the healthcare fintech space is hiring two Customer Success Managers to support and scale their growing customer base. With hundreds of active clients and limited internal CS bandwidth, they’re building out a foundational CS team — and need resourceful, proactive team members to help shape it.
The Opportunity:
This is a startup CS role in the truest sense — ideal for someone who’s worn multiple hats before and is eager to take ownership. The successful candidate will manage a large portfolio of accounts, contribute to evolving workflows, and partner closely with the founding team to drive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a book of hundreds of accounts with a mix of low-touch and high-touch engagement
- Own onboarding, retention, and customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and automation
- Communicate customer needs and insights to engineering and product
- Maintain regular check-ins, deliver QBRs, and track key success metrics
Ideal Experience:
- 2–6 years in Customer Success or client-facing SaaS roles
- Experience managing a high volume of accounts
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Previous startup experience preferred
- Fintech, healthcare, or B2B SaaS background is a plus
- Comfortable working with remote engineering teams across time zones
