Position Summary
The Director of Product Management will lead and shape our product management team in delivering exceptional technology solutions. This individual will drive the product vision, strategy, and execution for our portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
As the Director of Product Management, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to bring innovative and high-impact products to market. This individual will not only set the overall product strategy and guide their team but also actively participate in hands-on product work, acting as both a leader and contributor, mentoring and coaching the team while simultaneously tackling specific product challenges.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and execute product vision, aligning with overall business objectives and market needs.
- Develops the product delivery schedules and manages resources to release products on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features and balancing short-term and long-term goals.
- Consistently deliver innovative product solutions that delight users and drive customer conversion and user adoption.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing product managers, fostering professional development and ensuring accountability for results.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless product development, launch, and iteration processes.
- Communicate product strategy and priorities effectively to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 8 years in product management, with a strong technical background and ability to dive into product details and collaborate with development teams.
- Strong product management expertise with a proven track record of product launches.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering). MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven ability to create long-term strategic plans while driving short-term tactical execution.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
- Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Strong team player/coach who can negotiate and work within and across departments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence, align, develop and articulate product vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Comments
- Standard business hours for this role are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET. (Hours may vary depending on the location and position.)
- Approximately 10% of travel, both local and overnight for company meetings, industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, etc.
Salary : $175,000 - $200,000
