Chicago FC United, a youth soccer club based in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a Girls Academy Director for our GA Program (U13-U19). Our directors and coaches play a pivotal role in providing our players with solid foundations in line with our club philosophy, curriculum and vision. We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated coach looking to develop soccer players in a fun, competitive and player-first driven environment while implementing Chicago FC United’s methodology.
Job Duties Include
Chicago FC United, a youth soccer club based in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a Girls Academy Director for our GA Program (U13-U19). Our directors and coaches play a pivotal role in providing our players with solid foundations in line with our club philosophy, curriculum and vision. We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated coach looking to develop soccer players in a fun, competitive and player-first driven environment while implementing Chicago FC United’s methodology.
Job Duties Include
- Director and Leader of our GA program
- Head Coach for 2 teams within the FC United GA Program, 1 team outside of the program (Maximum of 2 teams per season)
- Organize and oversee the entire GA Program
- Attend all GA Meetings and scheduled events set by league/conference
- Plan and execute training sessions for assigned teams in line with the Chicago FC United methodology
- Coach assigned teams at training camps and at all games and events
- Maintain an organized environment for the program and teams both on and off the field
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, to provide individual support to players with a player-first philosophy
- Oversee and execute the implementation of a Personal Development Plan (IDP) for each GA player to provide feedback and consistent goal setting
- Collaborate with the staff to advance the goals of the Chicago FC United Girls Academy
- Proactively form and strengthen relationships with Colleges across the State/Country to create pathways for our players to play beyond High School Age
- A current/valid USSF Coaching License - Minimum B License or Above
- Minimum 3 years coaching experience
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages
- Experience working with competitive players U12-U19
- A willingness to continue coaching education through attending USSF and USC coaching licenses in the future. Chicago FC United offers a License Reimbursement Program and supports all staff members who desire to further their coaching education.
- Ability to work late afternoons/evenings and weekend hours
- Must pass a criminal background check, possess a valid driver's license, and have adequate transportation
