- Coordinate and schedule patient visits, keeping track of study timelines and ensuring smooth patient flow.
- Collaborate with research coordinators, investigators, and other clinical staff to ensure study protocols are followed accurately.
- Maintain accurate records, including patient information and clinical data, in compliance with study guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment availability.
- Collect patient histories and vital signs accurately.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Document patient information in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and efficiently.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks as needed.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Support specialized departments such as geriatrics, PICU, hospital medicine, and more.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience in outpatient care or familiarity with inpatient environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to various specialties including dermatology, internal medicine, urgent care, and hospital medicine is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is preferred.
