Description
This growing law firm is looking to add a family attorney who is fiercely passionate about representing clients facing one of the most challenging times in their lives. Candidates should be adept in litigation and trial skills, client management, initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony, child support/child custody, and real estate. Experience in handling legal issues such as child custody, high-conflict divorce, and domestic violence is also a must. If you have a proven record of success both in and out of court, apply now!
Responsibilities
- Deliver 5 Star Customer Service by supporting clients through each phase of the case, frequently communicating, understanding the client's goals and needs
- Work with our high-performing team to continue to maintain a positive and supportive work environment with high standards and the desire to be the best in the industry
- Maintain current knowledge of legal and industry changes, trends, and technology
- Function well with a team that has systems, processes, and established protocols for excellence
- Think out of the box and develop creative solutions to old and new problems
- Share skills, learning, and expertise with team members to help elevate our ability to serve our customers
- Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action
- Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed
- Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
Qualifications
- J.D. required from a reputable school and Georgia Bar License in Good Standing
- Loyal, trustworthy, with no hidden agenda. Good person who is striving to do good work
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience with litigation is required. A minimum of 1 years’ experience in family law is also required
- Knowledge of applicable Georgia family laws and cases
- No prior criminal history and ability to pass a detailed background check
- Superior writing and proofreading skills
- Superior problem solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong client management skills, professionalism and the ability to have others trust and follow you
