We are seeking compassionate and dedicated social services workers to support individuals and families in specific Georgia counties and communities . This role involves assisting clients facing serious challenges such as neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health struggles, and parental substance abuse . The position requires strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills to help clients access essential resources and navigate difficult situations.
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide client support through phone calls, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
- Conduct home, office, and community-based visits to assess client needs and provide assistance.
- Evaluate and gather information to understand each clients unique situation and challenges.
- Deliver crisis intervention and trauma-informed care to individuals and families in distress.
- Refer clients to essential services by connecting them with local agencies and resources.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all services provided, maintaining compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Participate in court proceedings, DFCS meetings, and other mandated discussions related to family welfare.
- Educate and support clients and families by offering information, guidance, and access to resources.
- Assess for signs of child abuse, neglect, and attachment concerns to ensure childrens safety and well-being.
- Engage in continuous learning through required training, supervision, and staff meetings.
