Salary Range: $110,000 - $112,500 / annually

Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.
- Associates Degree Required, Bachelors Preferred
- EIT Preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in electrical engineering best management practices and theories
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry
- Proficiency in engineering software such as Milsoft and AutoCAD; GIS knowledge is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with limited standardization
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and government regulations
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.
Experience with project management in utility operations
Knowledge of protective relay schemes for transmission, distribution, and generation
Experience in planning and executing electrical engineering requirements
Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to mentor and guide technical personnel
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Outline key tasks and expectations for the role.
Manage electrical and generation-related projects
Provide engineering support for operations in the design, maintenance, and installation of relays, breakers, fuses, and other protective devices
Conduct fault current calculations, load flows, and relay settings for the electrical system
Prepare construction plans and specifications for electrical projects
Design and review control schemes for electrical, water, reuse, and pollution control systems
Respond to requests for street lights, solar systems, and other utility programs
Represent the company in dealings with regulatory agencies, trade organizations, and other utilities
