4 Corner Resources is currently seeking a dedicated Technician to join our client’s team in Orlando, FL. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and other field devices to ensure optimal functionality. The position is fully onsite and requires travel, working in various environments, including roadside and elevated positions.Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment in the field.
- Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs as needed.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies within a suitable timeframe.
- Conduct diagnostic tests on devices to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform manual repairs and general upkeep procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate reports on technical status and corrective measures taken.
- Work outdoors in various conditions, including heights of 40 feet using bucket trucks.
- Install equipment including but not limited to cameras, detectors, and controller cabinets.
- Install electrical conductors, data conductors, fiber optic cables, pull boxes, conduits, poles, and foundations.
- Prepare and complete reports, logs, and perform shift-to-shift communications.
- Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and system issues.
- Restore equipment to operational status as quickly as possible.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 - 4 years of related experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of diagnostics, troubleshooting, and hardware repair fundamentals.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and technical manuals.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions (bending, kneeling, stooping, lifting, etc.).
- Must pass fingerprinting and background check.
- Must obtain and maintain a CDL Class B within six months of starting employment.
- Must successfully obtain and maintain a customer-approved Florida Statewide Law Enforcement Radio Systems (SLERS) security clearance.
- Ability to work on weekends, nights, and overnights as needed.
- Comfortable working on the roadside and in bucket trucks.
- On-Call Rotation: Rotating every three weeks (subject to change).
