4 Corner Resources is looking for an experienced Lead Traffic Signal Technician II. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire role and is fully onsite. The main responsibility is to perform maintenance services on Traffic Signal System equipment, including troubleshooting, cabinet wiring, and installation. Traffic Signal Technician II Responsibilities:
- Manages the prioritization and day-to-day progress of projects/tasks while assessing the resource load in order to meet the needs of the business.
- Perform any aspect of installation and maintenance to include; troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment, systems, and wiring; installation of equipment; upgrades, modifications, programming; and documentation.
- Test devices to ensure they are working properly.
- Troubleshoot to restore equipment in working order.
- Diagnoses and repairs hardware, software, and system issues.
- Completes reports, logs and performs shift-to-shift communications in accordance with established policies, procedures and local practices.
- Performs installation, maintenance, and repair of cabinet wiring, wiring to traffic signal heads, traffic controllers, and solid-state components per manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Performs repair, removal, and replacement of cabinet controllers and other equipment; repairs conduit and pull wires and cables, as needed; performs emergency repairs as needed.
- 3 years of recent relevant experience.
- International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Traffic Signal II Certification.
- FDOT-approved Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certification.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Class B CDL license preferred.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing CCTV and MVDS units and DMS signs preferred.
- $30 - $33 / HR
- 6-month contract to hire.
- Normal business hours are Monday through Friday with the flexibility to be on call when needed.
- Fully onsite and in the field.
