Job Overview

We're on the lookout for a dependable and experienced Shop Mechanic who takes pride in their craft. If you're passionate about diagnosing and fixing vehicles and equipment, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working as part of a dedicated team-this is the role for you.

What You'll Do:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, machinery, and equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Repair and replace key components (engines, brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, etc.).

• Keep accurate records of all work performed, inspections, and services.

• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in all tasks.

• Maintain a clean, organized shop and well-stocked tool area.

• Collaborate with other team members to meet deadlines and deliver top-quality work.

• Assist with upkeep of company facilities and grounds.

• Perform other duties as needed-flexibility is a plus!

What We're Looking For:

• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (or a solid mix of experience and education).

• Proven background in automotive, equipment repair, or restoration.

• Comfortable using diagnostic tools and working on both modern and older systems.

• Skilled in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

• Great communication and teamwork skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/move over 50 lbs.

• Comfortable with extended periods of standing, walking, kneeling, and other physical activity.

• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

• Must be able to work in a shop environment with exposure to machinery, tools, and varying temperatures.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $22.00 to $34.00 (DOE)

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am to 4 pm

Work Location: In-person, Murrieta, CA
