What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic position at 4 Horn Management?
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Mechanic position supports the company, and client, in all fabrication and repair needs. This position ensures that all rental equipment fabrication and repair needs are conducted in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner. This role provides a great opportunity to learn and grow within the company.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Performs assembly and repairs of pumps and other equipment in a fabrication shop
- Act as a liaison between customers, and other departments of the company, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in terms of rental equipment fabrication
- Trouble shoot all assembly issues for the most efficient way to get the equipment to the customer
- Communicates with the team for ordering and stocking of needed parts, equipment, and accessories
- Be an ambassador for safety, making sure all work is done in the safest manner
- Continuous growth of knowledge for all Company products and inventory
- Assist with stocking all parts, equipment, and accessories
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management
EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must be mechanically inclined with mechanical background and knowledge of various motors and engines
- Must have your own tools
- Must be able to multi-task and work on many different projects at one time
- Must be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projects.
- Must be detail oriented and organized.
- Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditions
- Must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs.
