What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Technician (Valid Driver's License Required) position at 4 Horn Management?
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Residential Tech Manager, the Residential Technician is responsible for observation and supervision of the clients’ navigations to their assigned daily schedules. The Residential Technician will also help maintain the office and all client area appearances.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Provides supervision of clients through a variety of daily scheduled activities serving as a role model for appropriate social skills and interpersonal behavior
- Provides supervision of medication times for clients
- Provides temperature checks on clients as assigned
- Provides feedback on all client, equipment, repair, and facility issues/needs to management
- Provides charting in EMR system at the end of every shift
- Maintains a professional level of conduct while providing for the rights, dignity, and privacy of all clients
- Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for all clients
- Performs hourly rounds or client checks and enters appropriate data in client records
- Assists in crisis intervention
- Assists in maintaining orderly units and office appearances
- Assists in the restocking of facility supplies as needed
- Accompanies staff and clients on trips outside the facility as needed
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management.

- Required to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Required to reach with hands and arms
- Required to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and rarely lift the max of up to 75 lbs.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must have a valid state driver's license with a moderately clean driving record
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be flexible, with a natural passion to help people
- Preferably have two (2) years of experience with adults in a behavioral health setting
