Summary: The UV Offline Finishing Operator is responsible for the setup, adjustment and safe operation of all UV Finishing apparatus such as the Sakurai silkscreen press. The Operator will be responsible for producing quality finish products that meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five or more days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, or similar. Training may occur on other times.
This is an on-site position requiring the employee to be present physically.
Salary Range: $17.00 To 20.00 Hourly
Compensation commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Access the Batching System to view Batch Lists and identify priority jobs to be completed for gang runs (Batch List will identify batches as either Past Due Batches or Next Day Priority).
- Review job tickets and plan work processes to strategically meet customer specifications for custom jobs.
- Setup assigned apparatus to job assignment specifications and run products when ready.
- Present updates on quality control of completed job assignments status and schedule to the supervisor.
- Make adjustments, as needed, to uphold specifications and timely flow of materials.
- Monitor assigned apparatus during run to ensure machine is maintaining the proper (registration, cut and scoring specifications).
- Unload the materials and properly stack them on pallets.
- Ensure the completion of assignments by meeting quality/quantity specifications and requirements.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, if possible, resolve it and notify Supervisor or Plant Management.
- Maintain apparatus in compliance with maintenance and lubrication.
- Eradicate recycled paper and discharge scrap trailer.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
- Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s).
- Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Attend all department/company meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency, preferred
- One (1) to two (2) years related experience working with UV Finishing apparatus’ (preferably Sakurai silkscreen press)

- Ability to read and comprehend job assignment tickets and customer instructional specifications
