Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agricultural maintenance and Agricultural diagnostics, with the ability to work effectively with hand tools and schematics. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our fleet. Along with Landscape equipment as well. Must be a self starter, have your own tools.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and associated systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Assemble components and systems as required for repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.
- Follow schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment specific to diesel mechanics.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Experience as a service technician in the automotive or diesel industry is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in customer service interactions.
- Capability to transmit technical information clearly to team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
