Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Manager to oversee our parts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural service and supply chain management, with a focus on inventory management and order fulfillment. As the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our inventory levels meet the demands of our service operations while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of automotive parts and supplies.
- Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
- Utilize an order management system to track orders from suppliers and ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors to secure the best possible deals for the company.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts.
- Supervise warehouse operations, including organization, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in parts management and customer service.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure that all necessary parts are available for repairs.
Skills
