What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sous Chef position at 4 Star Restaurant Group Chicago HQ?
Our 8 unit Restaurant Group is looking for excited, inspired, eager, hard working individuals, to fill positions for Sous Chefs in our organization.
You will support and learn from our Executive chef's , with the goal of one day being an Executive Chef at one of our locations. We have a history of successful, high volume neighborhood restaurants and will only consider candidates with the same. Your daily responsibilities will be great but so will the rewards.
Your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
- working open, Mid and Closing shifts
- Food prep and cooking.
- Maintaining Food Purchases and inventory.
- Maintaining 4 Star systems and Procedures.
- Managing Labor and Food cost with-in budgets.
-Complying with Local and Federal food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Communicate effectively with teammates.
- Gives and recieves feedback in a positive manner, presents solutions based on results and problems
To be successful in this role, You need to be able to work with a sense of urgency, work professionally and camly under pressure, manage systems, People and budgets.
