Operator I (Laborer-General)
- Pay: $16.78/hr - weekly pay
- Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 5:30 PM - 3:30 AM
Position Overview:
You will perfom duties such as assembly, repair, and testing medical devices such as pacemakers and ICDs while ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, repair, and test medical device components under close supervision.
- Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure quality and accuracy in all tasks.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for all cell operations.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of manufacturing management (both written and verbal).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Ensure traceability of all parts and handle small components carefully.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience, especially in medical devices.
- Ability to use electronic data collection systems and basic computer software.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
Dress Code (Cleanroom Requirements):
- Clothing must be non-shedding, clean, and free of contaminants.
- No items that could become dislodged (e.g., tassels, glitter, sequins).
- Shoes must be closed-toed, with a heel height no higher than 2 inches.
- Jewelry, artificial nails, and makeup are not allowed in the production area.
- Headwear (e.g., caps, scarves) must be worn appropriately as per cleanroom standards.
