Warehouse Associate I
- Shift: Various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour (Weekly pay)
Job Overview:
You’ll be a part of a dynamic and skilled management team, contributing to the success of our operations in the transportation industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, such as unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
- Distribute orders to sales associates for processing.
- Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions to determine which items need to be moved, gathered, and shipped.
- Ensure the warehouse is safe and accessible for both employee and customer traffic.
- Follow safety policies and procedures in all tasks.
- Participate in inventory counts and product assembly when needed.
- Handle check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time and confirming load data for accurate accounting.
- Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verifying the timely and safe arrival of all loads.
Requirements
- Warehouse experience, including loading/unloading trailers and using handheld scanners.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
