40:31 Rehab & Wellness is looking to add multiple occupational therapy practitioners to our already fabulous team. We are a pediatric outpatient facility that provides play-based specialty therapy services to the children and families of Muskogee and Tulsa Counties. We have two clinic locations, with both sites offering full and part-time therapy positions. We currently work under the DIR/Floortime treatment model, which is a child-led and play-based approach to care. While experience using this model is preferred, on-the-job training can be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), play, and family dynamics to promote independence and improve quality of life.
- Implement care plans under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists.
- Provide support in assessment provision and show the ability to contribute accurate and meaningful data during progress reviews and plan of care development.
- Utilize knowledge of sensory processing and social-emotional development to facilitate patient rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress and document outcomes to ensure effective treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and school staff to enhance patient care and address individual needs.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of childhood development, play, and social functioning
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience assisting children and families with activities of daily living (ADLs), play, and social interactions
- Familiarity with DIR/floortime Treatment Model
- Ability to assist with the development and implementation of care plans
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children coming from trauma and poverty
- Background in outpatient and school-based environments
