Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical administrative support and front desk operations
- Proficient in managing medical records and patient service
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of EHR systems such as Fusion Web Clinic and Availity
- Strong social skills that support conflict resolution, build team and patient rapport, and facilitate community and client trust.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle multi-line phone systems
- Background in clerical duties and office management in a healthcare setting
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
- Coordinate office management tasks, including filing and managing medical terminology.
- Support administrative functions at the front desk, addressing conflicts and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
- Utilize computer skills to maintain electronic health records and assist with medical collections and client pre-authorizations, as needed.
