Loan Originations Intern

Here’s what you can expect in the role as a Loan Originations Intern :
Job Duties :
Manage the loan pipeline to ensure processed loans fall within Federal and State regulatory guidelines along with company policies and procedures.Determine proper documentation required based on income / employment types and loan types to verify income, employment, and other financial stipulations.Provide detailed expectations to home buying customers and Home Center team members using various methods of communication.Work alongside Loan Specialists to learn loan originating guidelines to be better prepared to gain proper licensing.Gain hands-on experience with industry tools, including Mortgage Cadence, Salesforce, and proprietary systems such as LINK.Opportunity to explore and identify career paths within the financial industry, especially for graduates with broad degrees like Marketing or Business.What you’ll need to qualify :
Currently a Senior enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.Computer competency with Microsoft Office, including Word typing skills at minimum 25 wpm and Excel, formulas and features.Great attention to detail and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage time effectively.Manage multiple deadlines, complete tasks timely and follow up as needed.Must be professional, well organized, thorough, committed, urgent and a resourceful problem solver.Ability to manage multiple duties with a sense of urgency.Ability to effectively communication and interact with internal and external customers via phone, email and fax.Ability to work in a team environment.But also, remember you :
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.75% communication methods completed over the phone.
