Job Duties
- Work with Fr. Lou and the staff of the Lakewood Catholic Parish Family to assist parishioners in growing in Faith and virtue.
- Oversee scheduling of Masses and other liturgies including moving to and maintaining a Microsoft Calendar of Priest-Liturgical Assignments.
- Maintains the parish family calendar on Microsoft 365 with the secretaries and staff.

Supervises secretaries and develops volunteers to assist in front offices.
- Works with secretaries to create and maintain a single website for the parish family.
- Develops a unified bulletin and communication plan including sending the bulletin weekly to parishioners and a social media presence (eg. Facebook, CCB, mass texts).
- Develops volunteers to assist with photography/videography of parish events and uses the photographs for parish family promotion.
- Develops and supports small faith sharing groups across the parish family utilizing one of the available models as discussed with the Pastor.

Assists the pastor in Partners in the Gospel through:
- Development of cross-parish staff cohesion and collaboration.
- Assistance between the parishes in the parish family for cross-parish volunteer development of similar parish and catechetical groups.
- Assist with the continual transition to a single catechetical and sacramental preparation program across the parish family.
- Assists the Pastoral Leader and consultative bodies in the evaluation and assessment of the needs of the parish family.
- Organizes and promotes, with parishioners, parish-led charitable works, such as giving tree, food donations etc. and coordinates with parish affiliate groups in efforts to charitable works.
- Organizes parish family-wide organization and catechetical support of Eucharistic Visitors to the Homebound.
- Assures Safe Environment policies of the Archdiocese are followed.
Requirements
- Believes everything contained in the word of God, whether written or handed down in Tradition, which the Church, either by a solemn judgment or by the ordinary and universal Magisterium, sets forth to be believed as divinely revealed. Also firmly accepts and holds each and everything definitively proposed by the Church regarding teaching on faith and morals.
- Desires to grow in an authentic life of prayer and unity with Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church.Preferred
These attributes are not required, but could be beneficial for the job position above.
- Degree in Theology or advanced education in teaching the Catholic Faith.
- Experience in the field of study.
