30-40 hours per week with benefits
Manages and/or provides services to the grounds and buildings of Family #3. This person will manage maintenance, perform repairs, oversee vendors, and facilitate construction projects as needed with leadership.
Job responsibilities:
- Establishes work priorities with supervisor and provides training and work direction to helpers, volunteers, and vendors.
- Diagnose problems and complete repairs or facilitate volunteers completing work to ensure good stewardship of buildings and grounds.
- Assures preventive maintenance of buildings and grounds to minimize plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, and air conditioning system failures. Calls in and supervises the work of professional contractors and vendors as needed.
- Collaborates with supervisor, serving as a member of both campus Safety Committees. Attends Custodial, Safety, and Facilities training as directed and maintains a level of knowledge and skills required for this position.
- Represent the parish when dealing with outside contractors in all major maintenance, construction, and minor renovation projects. Works with contractors in the bid process on maintenance projects in conjunction with the supervisor.
- Assure set-up for scheduled meetings and events.
- Manage access system and security gates to ensure proper function.
- Open to work outside regular hours in case of emergencies.
Secondary Functions:
- Assure spot cleaning and supplies for parish bathrooms as needed during busy holiday times during the year, replacement of light bulbs as needed and emptying of garbage/recycle throughout the facility as needed.
- Work with supervisor to assure attention to and completion of Annual/Monthly Maintenance Schedule. Which should include monthly cleaning and maintenance of Baptismal Font.
- Assures that facilities are clean after events and ready for next use.
Qualifications
Parish Family 3, Immaculate Conception in Mt. Vernon, St. Charles in Burlington, Immaculate Heart of Mary in Sedro-Woolley, St. Catherine in Concrete, Sacred Heart in La Conner, and Immaculate Conception Regional School is looking for a shared Facilities Coordinator. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of preventative maintenance, as well as be able to troubleshoot issues and complete basic repairs. This role requires strong organization and the ability to manage multiple projects between campuses. Must be capable of using Office 365; email and Excel spreadsheets.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
